In this field based training, we will explore and reinforce strategies in decision-making, planning, preparation, and “hands on” practice in implementing an effective small team avalanche rescue plan in the event of an avalanche accident. This course is ideal for the recreational winter backcountry user and will include realistic “scenario based” post-burial problem solving. This field clinic is a great follow up/supplement to FOSJ’s On-Snow Sessions!
**Note** Participants enrolling in this field session are REQUIRED to attend a virtual class on Thurs, Jan. 28, 2021, 6-8pm. Thanks and enjoy the course!
